“THΔD”(THADDEUS PUN) x Jon Shen
“THΔD” (pronounced: Ted) is an emerging Hong Kong-Canadian multidisciplinary artist, also known as THADDEUS PUN. He is an aspiring theatrical artist and a fusion jazz and R&B singer-songwriter. He recently made his TV debut on ViuTV’s “Kingmaker V” in Hong Kong. Selection of previous featured performances includes: “KNOCK KNOCK Music Special: feat. Jim Yan, Thaddeus”, “DTM Music Night: THA VIBES”, and Toronto International Dragon Boat Race Festival 2024- Guest Performer.
His musical partner, Jon Shen, a singer, pianist, composer, and producer brimming with talent, the awardee of the World Music Trophy in 2017, released the album “Sole Divinity” in 2019. With his solid background in Jazz, Gospel, R&B, both improvisation and arrangement come naturally to him. His time spent studying at Berklee College of Music, living in the US and Spain, has also influenced him to infuse his compositions with a special groovy mellowness.
